The weather of madhya pradesh continues to fluctuate. Heavy rain is expected once again due to the strong system becoming active on the first day of September. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with lightning in many districts of the state today (September 1). According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains with lightning at different places in Guna, Narmadapuram, Pandhurna, Sagar, Sehore in madhya pradesh in the next 3 hours. In view of the possibility of lightning, people have been advised to stay indoors during heavy rains.


The water level of the dam is rising rapidly

On the other hand, due to the continuous rain in the state, flood-like conditions have arisen at some places. The water level in Sehore, Kolar Dam, Veerpur is continuously rising. The water level in Sehore Dam, Kolar Dam and Veerpur Dam has reached around 462.0 meters and there is a continuous inflow of water in the dam.

Dam gates can be opened

Keeping in view the continuous inflow of water and to maintain the water level of the dam, the dam gates can be opened at any time. The administration has issued an alert regarding this. In which citizens have been appealed not to do any kind of activities in both the coastal areas affected by Kolar Dam and Kolar River.

Record rainfall in Madhya Pradesh

According to reports published in the media, earlier the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many districts of the state. This year, more than 90 percent of the rain has occurred in the state so far. The Meteorological Department has predicted 106 percent rainfall this year. More than 33.6 inches of rain has occurred in the state this monsoon season. Mandla and Seoni are on top in terms of rainfall. So far, 46.3 inches of rain has fallen in Mandla and 45.1 inches of rain has fallen in Seoni.
