Adi Chopra appears to have made this choice after observing how skillfully ayan mukerji has been directing war 2, the upcoming Spy Universe movie starring hrithik roshan and NTR.

Even before making franchise films got popular, dhoom was the largest franchise in indian cinema. It created a precedent and had an unmatched frenzy. aditya chopra, with the exception of a few films like tiger 3, which was a huge failure, is a genius when it comes to identifying potential and giving projects to filmmakers.
