Infosys - Offer letters sent to 1,000 Freshers!!!
After more than 2.5 years of delay, Infosys sent out over 1,000 offer letters to the 2022 campus hires, according to the IT employee organization Nascent Information technology Employees Senate (NITES). The company is hiring System Engineers, with the deadline for joining on october 7, 2024. In 2022, Infosys made initial job offers to these software developers.
The joining date for these positions, which are for System Engineers, is october 7, 2024. These software engineers were first given job offers by the Bengaluru-based company in 2022, but they had to finish two pre-training sessions by 2024—the most recent one was on august 19. Saluja continued, "However, we remain vigilant... if Infosys fails to honour this commitment and breaches the joining date, we will not hesitate to organise a protest right in front of the Infosys office."
In the past, NITES has filed a complaint against Infosys with the Ministry of Labour and Employment for delaying the onboarding of 2,000 engineering graduates who were chosen for positions as wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital specialists and system engineers during the 2022–2023 recruitment campaign. Salil Parekh, the CEO of Infosys, has stated that while there might be some changes to the joining dates, the company will honor the offers given to freshers and move forward with their onboarding. "Everything we have offered is conditioned on an employee joining the company." According to PTI, Infosys CEO Salil Parekh stated, "We changed some dates, but beyond that, everyone will join Infosys and there is no change in that approach."
