India promoting energy projects in Sri Lanka!!!

NSA Ajit Doval, who arrived on a two-day visit to sri lanka, participated in the Colombo Security Conclave. During this, he discussed many issues including internal security and threat from China. The Sri Lankan PMO said in a statement after the meeting, distribution and indian investment in solar and wind energy projects can be increased. Doval said that after some time, sri lanka can generate more electricity than its domestic requirement and sell the excess electricity to india and get huge financial benefits. He told that bhutan is selling a large amount of hydroelectric power to india and this gives the biggest revenue to that country.


When was it started?

Talking about the Colombo Security Conclave, it started in the year 2011. Initially, three countries india, sri lanka and maldives were included in this organization. Later another country mauritius also joined it. bangladesh has also been kept as an observer in this organization. CAC is such a high level meeting, in which the security of these countries is discussed and further strategy is decided.


It started with a very important issue, at present there are five points which are discussed in this conference. These five issues include terrorism, smuggling, cyber security, security of infrastructure and technology. The biggest issue in this is China. The most important discussion in this conference is about keeping an eye on china, because china is dangerous for all countries.
