Two days before it opens internationally, Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled to open in indian theaters. The much awaited joker 2 sequel has been rescheduled till October. On gandhi Jayanti, joker 2 will make its indian premiere. The highest-grossing English-language picture to date is Joker's debut feature film. Its 2019 release brought in a net collection of 70 crores, which, when adjusted for today's ticket pricing, comes to an astounding 110 crores.
 
Over the past five years, the joker series has grown a sizable fan base in India. NTR's Devara may face serious obstacles as a result of this success, particularly in the hindi market. Devara is slated for release on september 27; the way movie does in Hindi-speaking areas will determine if it receives the HIT verdict. gandhi Jayanti falls on october 2, and if the movie has good word-of-mouth, it may do well on the national holiday.
 
But joker 2's simultaneous release on the same day may have a big effect on Devara's box office performance—not only on gandhi Jayanti, but also in the days that follow. industry insiders predict that for Devara to break even, its hindi version's net worth need approach 100 crores.
