A few years back, a member of the subcommittee looking into gender prejudice and sexual harassment in telugu movies made a significant contribution. They believe that the public should now be made aware of this important study. Suneetha, who served on a committee established by the previous BRS administration in 2019 and was made up of important figures, law enforcement, and members of the public, talked with TOI. samantha Ruth Prabhu and a few other performers have recently demanded that the two-year-old assessment on the telugu cinema industry be made public.
 
After the hema Committee report on sexual harassment in the malayalam film industry was made public on august 19, female actresses began pleading for the release of the committee's findings on Tollywood. lakshmi manchu and samantha Ruth Prabhu are notably leading the push for this urgently needed openness.
 
In an instagram story, samantha Prabhu wrote, “We, the women of the telugu film industry, welcome the hema Committee report and applaud the persistent efforts of the WCC in Kerala, which has laid the path to this moment (sic).” She further added, “We hereby urge the telangana government, to publish the submitted sub-committee report on sexual harassment, which can help frame government and industry policies, to establish a safe working environment for women in the TFI (Telugu Film Industry) (sic).”

Talking to the media portal Suneetha stated, “Despite reminding govt 3-4 times after we submitted the report, we did not get any positive response on making the report public (sic).” Suneetha further said, “We had extensive discussions with women actors, camerawomen and women workers from the telugu film and television industry and conducted over 20 sessions on the challenges they face at the workplace and how they cope (sic).”
