President Murmu to present the National Teachers' Award!!!


In honor of Teachers' Day, President Droupadi Murmu hailed educators across on wednesday and wished them well as they work to create a society of enlightened learners who would propel india forward. "On this Teachers' Day, I extend my warm wishes to all the teachers in our country," the President wrote in a message. Today is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the esteemed educationist, philosopher, and former President of India. He serves as a tremendous inspiration to the people of India. I honor him with my meek tributes this time around.

On september 5, Teacher's Day is observed in observance of Dr. Sarvepalli Krishnan's birth anniversary. Every year on this day, the Ministry of Education's Department of school education & Literacy hosts a national event to present the nation's top teachers with national awards.This year, the president Droupadi Murmu will present 50 teachers from different states and union territories with awards for their exceptional contributions to the area of education at Vigyan Bhawan starting at 4:15 p.m.

28 states, 3 union territories, and 6 organizations are represented by these awards. The roster consists of sixteen female and thirty-four male educators, two educators with disabilities, and one teacher who specializes in working with children with special needs (CWSN). In addition to these 50 educators, 16 educators from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and 16 educators from the Department of Higher education will also receive awards on this special occasion.
