Venkat Prabhu's and his brother Premji's interviews ensured the audience was ready for an Action-packed Entertainer. But the audience got a slow-paced, C movie with a complete lack of interesting plot, music, editing, or anything else that makes a movie worthwhile. Vijay and his gang are on SATS and they complete several missions successfully. However, one of their missions doesn't end as expected and revenge chases them. What happens next to them forms a 3-hour tiring story!

Well, we have to say that Thalapathy Vijay sure isn't delivering the same kind of interesting and watchable movies as he used to do. venkat prabhu has decided to play the safe nostalgia card after watching the Ghilli re-release response and he has used all cringe mannerisms. There simply wasn't enough momentum to take the story forward and such a thing for an Action thriller is just a death sentence.  Even Vijay seemed like he didn't believe in the script and storyline.

A Star hero movie needs an adrenaline pumping background score and Anirudh who has been constantly providing it for Vijay has been a major miss this time. yuvan shankar raja ensured the movie sinks to the bottomless pit with a pathetic score. And, most of us trolled Late director KV anand for keeping a duet scene after an emotional scene. Well, venkat prabhu has kept an emotional breakdown scene followed by a duet the next second and he did it 'TWICE'.

Now, SPOILER ALERT! The first poster of GOAT showcased the SATS and we expected one of them would backstab Vijay. And yeah! prabhu deva is the black sheep who backstabs Vijay. trisha and Vijay performed together in an Item song and Vijay's dance movements deserve a special mention.

Audiences don't mind unoriginal movies, but at least they should be well-executed in a "Guilty Pleasure" kind of way even if it has no Award-worthy performances or a mind-blowing story. 'GOAT' doesn't provide any guilty pleasure. There is not a single "Hey, that was cool/interesting/impressive." moment. The movie will leave you entirely unsatisfied as you won't care about any of the characters, the cameos, the bloopers reel, or anything else. Story, Action, VFX, Music, Editing, they can't all miss their marks, right? Sadly and Incredibly, They CAN.
