11 RAS officers made IAS after promotion, see list!!!
11 RAS officers of rajasthan have been promoted in the job and have now been given IAS ranking. These include a woman officer as well. A gazette notification has also been issued regarding this on 3 September. This notification has been issued by the Ministry of Personnel, government of India. The RAS officers who have been promoted are shaheen ali Khan, akash Tomar, Arun Kumar Hasija, manish Goyal, Matadin Meena, Kesar Lal Meena, Himmat Singh Barhath, Purushottam Sharma, deva Ram Saini, ajay Aswal. The age of the officers who have been selected is between 51 to 57 years.
President approves decision
As per powers conferred under Rule 9(1) of the indian Administrative service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, Rule 8(1) of the indian Administrative service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 and Rule 3 of the indian Administrative service (Probation) Rules, 1954, the President has promoted some members of the rajasthan State Civil service as IAS.

Decision taken after consultation with the state government
The notification states that those RAS officers are appointed to the indian Administrative service relative to the vacancies determined by the government of India. Their appointment has been made after consultation with the state government under the relevant rules. Their appointment has been made in accordance with the vacancies that arose between 1 january 2023 and 31 december 2023.
