Pawan Kalyan's OG, which is being directed by Sujeeth, is one of the most eagerly awaited action-packed movies in telugu theaters right now. It has now been confirmed by the producers that the movie would be released on march 27 of the following year. According to recent rumors, the crew is optimistic that they will wrap up the last bit of filming and have the movie released on march 27, 2025. In the meantime, march 28, one day after OG, is the anticipated release date for Vijay Deverakonda's next production, which is tentatively named VD 12.

Since OG would be Pawan Kalyan's first theatrical release after his resounding victory in the 2024 assembly elections—which propelled him to the position of Deputy Chief Minister—it holds special significance for him. In light of the recent political triumph of the film's lead actor, the frenzy around it is unprecedented. Conversely, Vijay Deverakonda's VD 12, which is helmed by gowtam Tinnanuri, is seen as a significant undertaking, particularly in light of the lackluster box office results of his most recent movies, Liger, Kushi, and Family Star.

It's expected that Vijay would make a big acting and celebrity return with this movie. The simultaneous release of these two much awaited movies presents a problem, though, as one is likely to hurt the other's box office results. These two movies' conflict might be bad for the industry as a whole as well as for the two movies itself. One of the movies should think about moving up its release date. Who will back down, pawan kalyan or Vijay Deverakonda? That is to be seen.
