'Teachers' salary should be more than IAS officer'-Sisodia!!!

Former education Minister of delhi and AAP leader Manish Sisodia on thursday (September 5) said that a teacher's salary should be more than an IAS officer. He said that if india wants to become a developed country by 2047, then the salary of teachers should be more than that of IAS officer. He also gave examples of other countries. On the occasion of Teachers' Day, 'Shikshak Samman Samaroh' was organized by the delhi Municipal Corporation. On this occasion, former deputy cm Sisodia said, "Today there is a lot of discussion about the india of 2047. The teachers sitting here today, the children with you, are very important for 2047."

'In developed countries, teachers' salary is more than bureaucrats'

According to the PTI report, he said, "India of 2047 depends on these children but policy makers will also have to do something for them. In most developed countries, the salary of teachers is even higher than that of bureaucrats there. Citing the example of Germany, switzerland and some other countries, he said that a teacher with five years of experience gets more salary than an IAS officer with a posting of five years.''

Talking about his imprisonment in Tihar Jail, Sisodia said that he spent 8-10 hours every day reading books and learning about the education system of different countries. He said, "In the last 1.5 years I was in the toughest situations of my life. When we are in difficult situations, the things learned by teachers are most useful.
