According to telangana chief minister revanth reddy, the state's recent amount of unceasing rain has caused an estimated loss of almost Rs. 5000 crore. He asked for cooperation from the national government and urgent financial aid totaling Rs. 2000 crore.
 
Recently, revanth reddy led a review discussion about the floods in Hyderabad. He later traveled to khammam to see the areas devastated by flooding. revanth examined the circumstances at Raghavapuram hamlet in the Mothe Mandal in the Suryapet district as part of his journey. He addressed the district's agricultural and property losses as a result of the floods in his conversation with the district officials.


Revanth disclosed to the media that Suryapet had the most rainfall in the state, at 30 cm. He declared that the district collector's office will receive immediate financial support of Rs. 5 crore. revanth further said that anyone who lost family members in the floods will receive an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh. He promised to provide Indiramma 2BHK homes to those who lost their homes due to flooding. He claimed to have briefed prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister amit shah on the state's present predicament and asked the federal government for financial assistance.
