The 'Aparajita women and Child (West bengal criminal Law Amendment) Bill' was passed in the West bengal assembly on tuesday (September 3). This bill now requires the approval of the governor to be passed, due to which these bills are still pending. Meanwhile, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh targeted governor Bose. Ghosh said, 'The governor should pass the aparajita Bill immediately, as it is an ideal bill for the safety of women and taking the strictest steps against crime. Talking to news agency ANI, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said, 'Whenever the West bengal assembly passes the bill, the governor should pass it immediately. But he is adopting a delaying strategy.

Know why the Governor's office expressed displeasure?
The West bengal raj bhavan shared a post on the social media platform 'X'. In which it was said that governor CV Bose has sent the aparajita Bill to the President of india after receiving the mandatory technical report from the West bengal government. But the raj bhavan has expressed its displeasure over the failure of the assembly Secretariat to provide the text of the debate and its translation as per the rules. Meanwhile, at the end of heated debate, mutual allegations and counter-allegations, political threats and ultimatums, the chief minister had threatened to sit on a dharna outside the raj bhavan if the governor did not approve the bill. The governor expressed displeasure over the Chief Minister's threatening attitude and reprimanded the government for failing to follow legal and constitutional norms.
