Winona Ryder plays the strong goth heroine Lydia Deetz from the first film once more. After the success of a corny tv program, Lydia became a middle-aged psychic. However, she was forced to deal with a fiance named Rory (Justin Theroux), whose man bun and new-age babble instantly make him seem like a wrong 'un. When Lydia returns to her hometown of Winter River for Halloween, she is constantly harassed by flashbacks of that elderly trickster devil (Michael Keaton) and struggles to protect her family. She cautions, "If you say his name three times, he appears." The idiot Rory quickly complies. He claims he does this because he is interested in trauma treatment.

BB pursues psychic medium Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder). When she begins to see Betelgeuse, the demon who had first ever had feelings for her, regularly, her life falls apart. He is determined to wed her, but he is being pursued by the ghost of his former spouse, and Astrid (Jenna Ortega), Lydia's daughter, is also involved! Who will survive in such anarchy, and who will die?
Should you watch the first part before watching this?
It's not necessarily a deal-breaker, even if watching Beetlejuice might be beneficial to fully understand the events of the second.  Since BB remains strong even as a solo sequel, you are invited to join the world of the Deetz family even if you are new to it.
In this joyful film, a wonderful Halloween entry, Burton goes all out for weird.

This unreserved follow-up drops a flurry of shocking revelations. Even if the opening scenes appear a touch too simple, the film picks up speed quickly as the jigsaw pieces begin to come together. You can't decide which character you adore more—there are so many enjoyable moments in this film that it doesn't matter how disorganized things seem to be! There's a lot of fun to be had here since Betelgeuse has returned from the (un)dead, and Michael Keaton makes sure we have just as much fun as he does, even with his comparatively small screen time. It is difficult to think that more than thirty years have gone since we first met him, as he consistently delivers the greatest lines and personifies his role to perfection.

BB has tremendous watchfulness and a rambunctious attitude, but it also has several obvious flaws. While monica Bellucci's performance as Betelgeuse's ex-wife is a thunderous, once-in-a-lifetime moment, her character is reduced to strolling for the duration of the movie. Apart from that, the conclusion is incredibly convenient and hurried, and it absolutely gives way. Eventually, these conclusions undermine the significance of the entire narrative.

This time, there are more characters, greater dangers, and greater stakes. The movie is also, if not entirely, jam-packed into its little under two-hour running time. It's one of the most entertaining theater experiences of the past several years because of its set pieces, visual virtuosity, and performing ensemble. Although Burton hasn't yet revealed the third installment, I would really like to see Betelgeuse again in the hereafter.
Overall, A Nostalgic, Fun-Fueled Return to the Underworld
