Bengaluru Hosts FEI Jumping Children’s Classics 2024 from september 12-14

Bengaluru is set to host a key event in the Equestrian Federation of India's (EFI) 2024 domestic calendar, featuring the FEI Jumping Children’s Classics 2024 from september 12-14. This event will take place at the renowned Embassy international Riding school and marks the beginning of a series of prominent competitions aimed at showcasing India's top young equestrian talent.

The festivities will kick off with the EFI CSN Show Jumping event, starting with U14 selection trials on Wednesday. The FEI Jumping Children’s Classics will follow, spotlighting around 50 of the nation’s most promising young riders across three age categories: gold (12-14 years), silver (10-14 years), and Bronze (10-14 years).

Col. Jaiveer Singh, Secretary General of the EFI, expressed excitement about the event. "We are thrilled to host these prestigious competitions, which provide a platform for our young riders to showcase their exceptional talent," Singh said. "These events are crucial for displaying our athletes on the global stage and for nurturing the next generation of national talent."

Notable participants include Puneet Jhakar, silver medalist in the FEI World Challenge Category B; Yug Shokeen, bronze medalist in the same category; junior National champion Children-2 Sreshth Raju Mantena; and Harshvardhan Singh Gulia, bronze medalist at the junior National Equestrian championship 2023. These athletes will compete for a chance to represent india in international competitions.

The EFI CSN Show Jumping event will conclude with the selection of the top four riders in both the silver and Bronze categories, who will advance to the FEI Jumping Children’s Classics 2024. The top performers in the gold category will have the chance to achieve a top 16 world ranking, potentially leading to an invitation to the finale in Mexico.

As the competitions unfold, all eyes will be on these young talents, who are poised to become the future stars of indian equestrian sports. The events promise to be a thrilling showcase of skill and determination.
