Malaika Arora and amrita Arora’s father, Anil Arora, tragically died by suicide on wednesday afternoon. mumbai police have confirmed that he jumped from the terrace of his residence in Bandra. The family has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.

According to reports, senior mumbai police officers arrived at the scene promptly. The authorities are investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding his death. A video circulating on social media shows Malaika’s ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, outside Anil Arora’s residence, interacting with police officials and assessing the situation. The area has been heavily policed to maintain privacy and order during this sensitive period, and an ambulance was stationed outside the building.

Sources indicate that Malaika’s mother, Joyce, informed the police that Anil Arora had a routine of sitting on the balcony each morning to read the newspaper. Joyce mentioned that despite their divorce, she and Anil had been living together for the past few years. On the morning of the incident, Joyce noticed Anil’s slippers in the living room and went looking for him on the balcony. When she did not find him there, she looked down and saw the building watchman calling for help. Joyce reported to the police that Anil Arora had no serious health issues, aside from some knee pain, and had retired early from the Merchant Navy.

Malaika Arora, who was only 11 when her parents separated, and her younger sister amrita, who was 6, were primarily raised by their mother after the separation. Following the split, their mother moved from thane to Chembur with the children.

In a past interview, malaika had reflected on her parents’ separation and its impact on her. She noted that observing her mother’s resilience and work ethic taught her important life lessons and shaped her into a fiercely independent individual. malaika described her childhood as “tumultuous” but also acknowledged that challenging times can provide valuable lessons.
