Modi 3.0: Rs 3 lakh crore approved in first 100 days!!!
The central government led by prime minister Narendra Modi has completed the first 100 days of its third term. In these 100 days, the Modi government has maintained its focus on infrastructure. During this time, the Modi government has approved infrastructure projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore.
This port project is the biggest
According to an ET report, infrastructure projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore have been approved in the first 100 days of the Modi government's third term. The biggest project among them is the port in Vadhavan, Maharashtra. A project worth Rs 76,200 crore has been approved for that port. Apart from that, Rs 49 thousand crore has been approved for the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, under which 62,500 km long road is going to be constructed in rural India.
Focus from road to rail and airport
The government has also approved eight National High-Speed Road Corridor projects. Their length will be 936 km and the estimated cost is Rs 50,600 crore. The infrastructure projects approved in the first 100 days of Modi 3.0 include development of lal bahadur shastri International airport in Varanasi, development of new civil enclaves at airports in Bagdogar in West bengal and Bihta in Bihar, 8 new rail line projects, Shinkhun La tunnel connecting himachal pradesh and Ladakh, etc.
Focus on infrastructure maintained in the third term
The Modi government has focused on the development of infrastructure in the country during its first two terms. From the projects approved in the first 100 days of the third term, it seems that the Modi government is going to maintain focus on the development of infrastructure in this term as well. The projects which have been approved now are aimed at improving connectivity in the country, accelerating economic progress, creating new employment opportunities and making the lives of people easier.
