Hindu organizations call for 'Himachal Bandh'…?

Peace seems to be restored once again in the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, Hindu organizations have called for 'Himachal Bandh'. Hindu organization leader Kamal gautam has requested all traders to keep their shops closed till 1:30 pm. This protest by Hindu organizations will be against the lathi charge and use of water cannon by the police on the protesters in Sanjauli, Shimla. Hindu organizations have also warned of protests at different places in the state.

Call for Himachal Bandh on 14 September

Former state minister of Hindu Jagran Manch and the main face of the movement in Sanjauli, Kamal gautam said that "The police behaved brutally with the protesters in Sanjauli. They were lathi-charged. In protest against this, a bandh has been called on 14 September." Kamal gautam has requested all the traders to "keep their shops closed from 10 am to 1:30 pm and register their protest." He said, "All the traders need to be told that if any kind of hateful behavior is done with Hindus, it will not be tolerated." Kamal gautam warned, "Sit-ins will also be held in the state against this. He said that he hopes that people from all over the state will give a big message to the state government as well as the whole country."

What happened on september 11?

Let us tell you, a large number of protesters gathered in Sanjauli at 11 am on september 11. Seeing the situation, the shimla district administration had implemented section 163 here. Under this, there was a complete ban on the gathering of five or more people here. Despite this, the protesters gathered on the spot and broke the barricading from Dhali tunnel and reached Sanjauli rapidly. Here the police used lathicharge and water cannon to stop the protesters. In protest against this, the protesters also pelted stones on the police personnel. The situation remained tense for a long time. The protest and demonstration ended only by evening. On thursday (12 September) itself, a delegation of the mosque committee met shimla Municipal Corporation Commissioner Bhupendra Atri and sought permission to demolish the part which is being termed as illegal.
