Today Noida's AQI was recorded at 46 and Ghaziabad's AQI at 34, which comes in the good category.

Delhi's air is very polluted, due to which the Meteorological Department has also issued alerts many times. On friday, Gurugram's AQI was 69, which is the best in the last few days. The rain and strong winds in delhi NCR for the last few days have driven the pollution out of the city, making the air here breathable.

On friday, 54 mm of rain was recorded in Palam of the city, while the primary weather station at Safdarjung recorded 30.9 mm of rain in three hours between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm. With this, the total rainfall of the capital has reached 1,000 mm and the monsoon is still active.
Adverse weather events are decreasing in the national capital as weather experts have said that delhi usually receives about 650 mm of rainfall during the entire monsoon season. According to official data, the rainfall figure in delhi has also exceeded the monthly average. In september, 125.8 mm rainfall was recorded which is 55 percent more than normal. In contrast, in september 2023, there was less rainfall than average. During this period only 82.7 mm rainfall was recorded which is 33 percent less than the normal amount.
