According to a police official, a doctor at a private hospital in Gujarat's bhavnagar district was reportedly beaten up following a dispute over a directive to take off shoes. The police said that the three accused were taken into custody on Saturday, two days following the event at Shreya Hospital in Sihore town. The guys also said that a woman who had sustained a head injury was present.
"The doctor requested the accused to take off their shoes when they arrived at the emergency department. But they started mistreating him and the nursing personnel," the case's First Information Report (FIR) states. Dr. Jaideepsinh Gohil, 33, sustained injuries in the attack.
