Three IPS officials, including a director general, were recently suspended by the Andhra following an investigation into the claims made by model and actress Kadambari Jethwani. In a complaint brought against her, the actress claimed the police had "hurriedly arrested" and "harassed" her.

Who is Kadambari Jethwani?
Kadambari Jethwani is a 28-year-old model and actor, according to her IMDb biography. She was born into a Hindu Sindhi Jethwani family in ahmedabad, Gujarat. Her mother Asha, an economics gold medallist, works as a manager for the Reserve bank of India, while her father Narendra Kumar is an officer in the Merchant Navy.

Kadambari was educated at the prestigious Prakash Higher Secondary school, Mount Carmel High school, and Udgam school in Ahmedabad. At the age of twelve, she also earned her Visharad in Bharatnatyam.

She was an exceptional student who excelled in the Higher Secondary Exams. She then moved on to the prestigious Smt NHL Municipal Medical college in ahmedabad to earn her M.B.B.S. degree. But after this, her mother's move forced her family to relocate to mumbai, where she had a fortuitous meeting with a filmmaker that eventually resulted in her landing the main part in the bollywood film Sadda Adda.

Despite the movie's lack of success, a series of events transpired, and the actresses in South indian films such as Ouija (Kannada), Aata (Telugu), and I love Me (Malayalam) found success.

How Did She Get 3 IPS Officers Suspended?
Following an investigation that exposed their involvement in the alleged harassment of the model, former intelligence head P Sitharama Anjaneyulu (DG rank), former vijayawada police Commissioner kranti Rana Tata (IG rank), and vishal Gunni (SP rank), who was the deputy commissioner of police in vijayawada at the time, were suspended.

During the previous regime, Kadambari Jethwani said that police officers had threatened to harm her if she did not drop a case she had previously brought against a top executive of a mumbai corporation.

Sri P Sitharama Anjaneyulu, IPS (1992), was placed under suspension by the government after it carefully reviewed the report and took into account the case's circumstances. "We believe there is prima facie evidence of his serious misconduct and dereliction of duty, and therefore, we feel it is necessary to initiate disciplinary proceedings," one of the GOs stated.

Even though there was no criminal record against her at the time, the then-intelligence head gave the two other officers the order to arrest her.

The GO claims that the records show that the FIR was filed against the model on february 2 at 6.30 AM, but Anjaneyulu gave vishal Gunni and Kanthi Rana Tata instructions on january 31, which is a long time before the FIR was filed. She recently filed a complaint against a few police officers, saying she was harassed and that a fabricated case was brought against her. Two officials were suspended by the state government as a result of her report to the ap police.
