Gandhari, a new writing project by taapsee pannu and kanika Dhillon, was just revealed by Netflix. Dhillon gained recognition for her role in the Haseen Dilruba film and its follow-up, which starred Taapsee in the lead role. The official instagram feed of the streaming site verified the upcoming action thriller movie with a video. Taapsee provided the audio for the video, stating that although a mother's blessing is omnipresent, she would flip the world upside down for her kid.

A release date and comprehensive details on the remaining cast members are still pending, but the new project has also sparked concerns about whether it may cause more issues for the streaming service. Notably, Netflix found itself embroiled in a dispute last month when it was said that Anubhav Sinha's IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack offended religious feelings. Given the action-packed plot of the movie, it's possible that the main character may be seen engaging in several violent crimes. Some audience members take their faith and culture extremely seriously, thus they wouldn't accept this.

The title's association with the Mahabharata would be the cause of this. The producers may face issues if the main character behaves disrespectfully in any manner during their appearance. The issue of whether Gandhari would spark another scandal has no definitive answer. Depending on how Dhillon wrote the screenplay will determine this. If Dhillon hasn't written anything unpleasant, the problem may be avoided. A small error can potentially cause the criticism that followed Dhillon's posts to surface again. We will have to wait till the movie is available on Netflix in order to make any decisions in the meantime based on rumors.
