bharatiya janata party (BJP) leader and Maharashtra's State Rural Development Minister, Girish Mahajan, is known for his ingenuity in resolving issues, earning him the reputation of being the "problem solver" within the party. However, a recent incident has gained attention after a video went viral showing Mahajan in an uncomfortable situation. During a visit to Liha Tanda village in Jamner taluka, he faced criticism from local residents due to the poor condition of the roads.

In the video, Mahajan is seen confronted by the village's youth, who demanded answers regarding the deplorable state of the roads, worsened by rain and waterlogging. Instead of addressing the concerns directly, Mahajan is shown leaving the scene on a bike through the muddy roads, which sparked further discontent among locals. This video was shared on social media by shiv sena (Thackeray faction) leader Ambadas Danve, intensifying the political debate.

In his defense, Mahajan stated that funds for road repairs and village development had already been approved and that the opposition was politicizing the issue. He emphasized that many bjp supporters in the village remain loyal to the party, and there was no real confusion about the situation.
