BJP Leaders Praise Modi as 'Visionary' While Opposition Offers Birthday Wishes

Prime minister narendra modi celebrated his 74th birthday on Tuesday, receiving congratulations from a wide range of figures across the political spectrum. Both bjp colleagues and opposition leaders shared their best wishes for the Prime Minister.

BJP Leaders' Tributes

Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh praised Modi’s "visionary and strong leadership" in a post on X. He lauded Modi’s ability to lead the country with dedication and concentration, noting the global recognition of his leadership. "Many congratulations and best wishes to the successful prime minister of india, Mr. @narendramodi, on his birthday. Not only india but the whole world has seen and experienced his visionary and strong leadership," Singh wrote.

Union minister Nitin Gadkari extended his birthday wishes by expressing hopes for Modi's continued health and for his leadership to eradicate fear, hunger, terror, and corruption. "Respected prime minister Shri @narendramodi ji, I wish you a very happy birthday. May you remain healthy and long-lived, and under your leadership, may our india regain its position as a world leader," Gadkari posted on X.

Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde and gujarat chief minister Bhupendra patel also sent their greetings, with Shinde wishing Modi "good health and long life" and patel greeting him personally at Rajbhavan, Gandhinagar.

Opposition Leaders' Wishes

Congress President mallikarjun Kharge joined in the birthday celebrations by offering his own wishes for Modi. "Best wishes to prime minister Shri narendra modi Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and long life," Kharge wrote in a post on X.

Delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal also extended his congratulations, wishing Modi a "long and healthy life" in a message shared on X.

President Droupadi Murmu also sent her regards, praising Modi's leadership and innovative efforts. "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to prime minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his birthday. On the strength of your personality and work, you have provided extraordinary leadership and increased the prosperity and prestige of the country. I wish that your innovative efforts with the spirit of nation first pave the way to make india a developed nation. I pray to god that you live long and always remain healthy and happy," the President posted on X.
