Why people talk about the environment being killed?

Every day, people who raise their voice to protect human rights and the environment are often harassed, threatened or even killed. This is not what we say, but Global Witness's Annual Report 2023 says. Global Witness believes that the climate crisis is one-sided. Big companies that spread pollution have all the power. They make profits by destroying, but people have to bear the consequences. Global Witness has revealed in its report how big companies exploit natural resources and use corruption. These especially include shell companies. Big companies make a lot of money by using these companies. These companies often plunder countries that have a lot of minerals, such as Congo.
