During this, the Excise Department team received secret information that liquor traders are unloading a large consignment of liquor in the oil tanker in the village garden. police have seized the oil tanker, car and two pickups from the spot. The liquor businessman who asked for the consignment of liquor is being identified through the police team. The excise department team has estimated the value of the liquor seized from the tanker to be around 25 to 30 lakhs.
In the whole case, Excise Inspector Shivendra Kumar said that on the basis of secret information, the liquor ordered from West bengal was being unloaded by loading it in an oil tanker. The excise department team seized the liquor. Four vehicles including the oil tanker were also seized from the spot. More than two hundred cartons of liquor were kept in five different chambers of the oil tanker. Further action will be taken after identifying the liquor businessman.
