Following a recent incident, deputy chief minister pawan kalyan of andhra pradesh began an 11-day "Prayachit Deeksha" as a spiritual atonement for the act of sacrilege committed against Tirupathi Laddu Prasadam. He harshly criticized the old ttd board the other day for its anti-religious actions and lack of concern for the feelings of Hindus.

Now, pawan kalyan reiterated that the government is not holding jagan responsible for this problem, citing the numerous irregularities committed by the ttd board he set up and his silence over the previous five years. Pawan asked why jagan is standing up for the people who were on the board rather than letting the government investigate the matter more thoroughly. Pawan stated that there was no need for all this turmoil if jagan had a pure heart.

Pawan also questioned why the prime minister needed to be drawn into the matter more than necessary. He further said that since the state government has a special investigative team that would carry out an impartial investigation and provide a report on its findings, there is no need for a cbi inquiry.

Pawan said that by charging exorbitant prices for tickets and incurring other costs, the ttd board embezzled money in the name of Srivani Trust. According to him, the current administration is taking great care to preserve the TTD's assets and will shortly begin a thorough investigation into the wrongdoings of the outgoing administration.
