Concerns over the holy tirupati laddu have been raised by a devotee from Telangana's khammam district, who claims to have discovered tobacco pieces wrapped in paper within the prasadam she carried home. The occurrence occurs in the midst of a dispute that has persisted for a long time over the preparation of religious sacrifices using animal fat.

Gollagudem panchayat resident Donthu Padmavati, who lives in kartikeya Township, said she found the tobacco after visiting the tirumala shrine on september 19. As a sign of heavenly favors, Padmavati, like many other devotees, took back the tirupati laddu to share with her family and neighbors.

Padmavati expressed her profound displeasure by saying, "I was horrified to find pieces of tobacco wrapped in a small paper when I opened the laddu to distribute it." "The prasadam is supposed to be sacred, and to find such contamination is heartbreaking."

The community of devotees has been shocked by the disclosure, especially in light of previous claims that animal fat may have been utilized during the laddoos' manufacture. For millions of pilgrims, the tirupati laddu is a highly cherished offering that represents purity and dedication. The tirumala tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the trust in charge of overseeing the temple, has quality control procedures in place, but these new allegations have raised questions about them.
