The tirupati ladoo debate is risky because it exploits millions of people's religion and can exacerbate social divisions. False information that the company supplying the ghee is owned by Muslims has already begun to circulate. Hindus own the company. A more responsible administration would have taken a less casual attitude to the problem.

Rather than making the accusation in a political arena and then stating that ladoos transported to ayodhya were also contaminated with beef fat, a thorough investigation would have been conducted first. It is not the responsibility of a chief minister to incite religious feeling. least of all someone whose reputation is based on advancement.

Easy questions for chief minister Naidu on the issue he has sparked over tirupati laddoo:

1) Were ladoos prepared using the purportedly tainted ghee and utilized as prasad? If not, why did you assert anything so ridiculous?

2) Is it accurate to say that the tirupati Trust requests bids for ghee every six months?

3) Is it accurate to say that the temple verifies the quality of the ghee it receives before using it, and that tankers have been turned down several times in the past, even during the previous tdp administration, due to ghee that didn't match requirements?

4) Is it accurate to say that the trust board's permission is the last step before selecting the bidders that provide the lowest price in the tender?

5) Is it accurate to say that the temple's trust board, which is made up of followers from other states on the advice of different CMs and others, is independent? Those with bjp ties are also included in the trust. So why only attack your political opponent?

If the prasad was not made with contaminated ghee, as news outlets have since claimed, Mr. Naidu must apologize to the millions of followers for offending them.
