Bollywood has weathered the post-pandemic period thanks to a few strong films, but Akshay Kumar's career has taken a hit since the majority of his ventures have failed. In the meantime, he has been readying himself for a legitimate return, and his movie Tirangaa is currently making waves. Interestingly, there have been reports suggesting that the next project is a remake of the same-named 1993 movie. producer Narendra Hirawat, however, refuted this last month, stating that the script is "new and original."

However, Tirangaa may end up being an adaption of the cult hit starring nana patekar and Raaj Kumar, as has been the case in most situations. Now, this could have been a bad choice because, aside from the Drishyam franchise, audiences these days barely like remakes or adaptations. If the reports are accurate, akshay kumar must proceed cautiously at this time. His last several movies went poorly at the box office, maybe because he was overconfident in his ability to draw viewers to the big screen with topics based on societal concerns and real-life events.

Sanjay Puran Sing Chauhan, who was initially set to work with Akshay on a another film called Gorkha, now directing Tirangaa. producer Aanand L Rai disclosed last year that they were working on the factual clarifications, but the project was eventually canceled. It is said to be a commercial entertainment coming to Tirangaa. This indicates that Akshay will return to humor and action at a later date. However, in light of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's response this year, the writers must revise the screenplay. However, Tirangaa's release date has not yet been announced.
