When it was launched, PVR Cinemas' Passport program—officially known as PVR Passport—was seen to be a terrific offer for moviegoers who frequent theaters. For movie buffs, it looks like a great offer at a little monthly membership cost of ₹ 349 and a quarterly subscription charge of ₹ 1047! However, as is sometimes remarked, if something appears too good to be true, it most likely is.

Some PVR Passport users have even gone so far as to call it a fraud. Many have voiced their complaints about various problems with the service. Many individuals believe that this service is just PVR's method of pushing less well-liked movies because some claim they are unable to reserve tickets for blockbusters that are launched on the week they are released or for movies that are released on the weekends.

This is not the end of the issue. There are claims made by people that their passports expire earlier than expected! As a result, many people have lost access to their memberships well in advance of when they were supposed to expire. people become annoyed because they can't see a movie with their passport more than once. In addition, subscribers lament that in order to receive their money's worth before their tickets expire forever, they must watch movies that they otherwise wouldn't!

People who wish to voice their complaints about problems with bookings or unsuccessful payments are met with silence. They either receive no answer at all or a response that is insignificant to their problems! The subscribers get dissatisfied when their issues go unanswered for long periods of time.
