Jigra, alia Bhatt's next movie, is being promoted nonstop until its release next month. alia recently discussed signing Jigra shortly after giving birth to her daughter Raha Kapoor in an interview with director Karan Johar and Jr. NTR, the star of Devara: Part 1. She discovered that the maternal instinct was also evident in the movie, which centers on her character's attempt to save her brother.

In the conversation, alia talked candidly about when she was offered to participate in Jigra, saying, "I think I was in my tigress mode when I signed Jigra." I was acting in my most defensive manner—like, "Nobody come near her." That was the force. This is the reason I usually believe that a lot of things in life have a lot to do with fate, luck, and life experiences. Put Jigra's fate aside; what struck me at the same moment was—wow, what timing! that it arrived and I am feeling this way. All those items were layered on top of it.

Alia spoke on how becoming a mother affected her both personally and as a performer, adding, "I don't think I am the same person." Life is so much more meaningful, and I believe that performers who are self-centered all the time may become quite self-obsessed. Suddenly, when someone else enters your life, it seems like Alia. Who is she? Ah, Ah, Ah, it's Raha! alia enters and exits! The fact that my thoughts are constantly with her and on her needs is something that will never change.

Raha, alia and Ranbir Kapoor's infant daughter, was born in november 2022. She frequently sees the two of them together when they make public appearances.

On october 11, Jigra is scheduled for release in theaters. alia and Vedang Raina play the brother and sister, respectively, in this Vasan Bala-directed film. The escape thriller, which also stars Manoj Pahwa, is co-produced by Karan's dharma productions and alia and her sister shaheen Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions. Moreover, alia will appear in the films Jee Le Zaraa, love & War, and Alpha.
