Tomorrow marks the U.S. debut of NTR's pan-Indian film Devara, which follows the big smash rrr that drew in viewers from across the country. Thus far, Devara is seeing tremendous success in the telugu states as well as North America. Pre-sales for the film have surpassed even NTR's previous huge releases with Prabhas. ntr is currently on a U.S. tour and will be present for a special showing of Devara at the Los Angeles Beyond Fest.

With only one day till Devara's U.S. release, let's examine the top ten highest-grossing telugu debuts in North America and where it stands:

1. kalki 2898 AD – $3.9M
2. rrr – $3.46M
3. Salaar – $2.6M
4. Baahubali2 – $2.45M
5. Devara – $2.4M* (1Day to Go)
6. Agnyathavaasi – $1.52M
7. guntur Kaaram – $1.42M
8. Baahubali – $1.37M
9. khaidi No. 150 – $1.29M
10. spyder – $1M

By the end of the premiere day, Devara's position in the top three is essentially assured based on the present trend. Koratala seems upbeat about the movie's chances in Hindi. If viewers relate to the people and the world, I don't think their senses differ in any way. The stuff we have will undoubtedly resonate with the indian audience. That is beyond dispute, according to Koratala.
