First time in India..!! train service inside the airport..!?

For the first time in the country, it is reported that an air train or automated people mover (APM) service will be introduced to connect three terminals at delhi Airport. The train service will start by the end of 2027. With this train service, it is said that the journey between Terminals 3, 2, and 1 of delhi airport will become easier. For this, the delhi International airport Authority has sought contract points for the establishment of rail transport within the airport.
 As per the information mentioned in this point of agreement, this air train service will have four stops. Four railway stations are planned to connect Terminal 1, Terminal 2 / Terminal 3, Aero City, and Cargo City. The delhi International airport Authority has informed that a 7.7 km route has been identified for this purpose. Inter-terminal bus service will be discontinued when this train service is operational. It seems that the process of claiming these contract points will be completed in october or November. In November, the airport authorities are set to finalize the agency to set up the first rail transport service within the airport. The airport management has decided to award the work contract by the end of this year. If the contract is awarded and the work begins, the train service will be operational within the airport by the end of 2027. Once this train service is operational, passengers will be able to travel easily and quickly between the three terminals at delhi Airport. delhi airport is the busiest airport in India. About 7 crore passengers come and go here in a year. It is said to increase to 13 crores in the next 6 to 8 years. This train service is being brought to allow all these passengers to travel quickly to the airport.
