Coldplay to Appear on The Great indian Kapil Show?
In the inaugural season of The Great indian Kapil Show, kapil sharma and his team delighted fans by featuring Ed Sheeran, who made a special appearance amidst his busy schedule during a performance in Mumbai. With Coldplay set to visit india for a three-day concert in january 2024, there's speculation about whether they might also grace the show.
When asked about the possibility, archana puran singh expressed her enthusiasm, telling News18 Showsha, “I would love it if Coldplay came on the show. It would be iconic. Our team is always looking for surprises to bring to the audience. The Netflix team and our creatives are constantly brainstorming for the next big thing.”
Kiku Sharda, who was also present during the interview, noted the potential for big dreams thanks to their partnership with the OTT platform. “With Netflix backing us, we can achieve anything,” he remarked.
Coldplay recently announced their india tour, initially scheduling two shows, but due to overwhelming demand, they added a third concert at DY Patil Stadium on january 21, 2025. All tickets for the concerts sold out within minutes.
Meanwhile, The Great indian Kapil Show has returned for its second season, featuring guests like alia bhatt, karan johar, and Vedang Raina, with upcoming appearances from Jr NTR, Saif ali Khan, and janhvi kapoor to promote their film Devara: Part 1.
