SIT to Investigate ghee Adulteration in tirupati Laddoos
The andhra pradesh government has officially established a nine-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate allegations of ghee adulteration in the famous tirumala tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) temple's Laddu prasadam. The SIT will be led by guntur Range Inspector General of police Sarvashresth Tripathi and includes key officers such as Visakhapatnam Range DIG Gopinath Jatti and kadapa SP v Harshavardhan Raju.

The team is tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into claims of adulterated ghee used in the preparation of the tirupati Laddoos during the previous government led by jagan mohan reddy, based on an FIR filed at the tirupati East police station. According to the government order, the SIT may request information and assistance from any government department and is encouraged to seek external expert help as necessary.

Background of the Controversy

Jagan Mohan Reddy's Response
Former chief minister jagan mohan reddy strongly refuted the allegations, accusing Naidu of politicizing the issue.
