The evening was quite stylish, with highlights including ananya Panday's captivating saree and Mrunal Thakur's striking Gaurav Gupta ensemble.
 
But as soon as actress rakul preet singh appeared on the red carpet, something familiar about her black off-the-shoulder gown struck. Her glitzy ensemble had striking similarities to samantha Ruth Prabhu's upcycled wedding gown from earlier this year.
 
The dress samantha Ruth Prabhu wore to her 2017 nuptials with naga chaitanya was reused. After the couple's divorce in 2021, samatha decided she no longer needed to wear her dress the way it was, so she bravely changed it into a black dress with a thigh-high slit to support sustainable design. She enlisted the assistance of her go-to designer, Kresha Bajaj, who was the creative force behind the dress' makeover!
 
Regarding the de de pyaar de actress, she also wore an item from her collection named "Obsidian" that she chose with the assistance of designer Kresha Bajaj. The corset of the garment matches the one samantha wore. Whereas Samantha's corset included details from her wedding gown, this one has beads made of black glass that are modeled by the highly prized black stone of Egypt. A semi-sheer A-line gown composed of tulle fabric flows from the corset.
 
Rakul Preet made a statement at the star-studded event by accessorizing her outfit with bold accessories. She accessorized her basic black gown with a pair of bohemian-style, gold-toned, hanging earrings. With a dewy background created by blush pink eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, filled-in brows, rosy cheeks, and a mauve-toned glossy lip, even her makeup was flawless. She also used highlighter to draw attention to her shoulders, collarbones, and facial high points. Her hair was done in a high bun with front banks to highlight her collarbones in the off-the-shoulder ensemble.
