After the Lebanese armed organization verified their leader's murder in Israeli attacks, Middle Eastern countries and Hezbollah's allies in the Tehran-aligned "Axis of Resistance" responded on Saturday.

Israel's military declared early on saturday that Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah for almost thirty years, perished friday night after a bombardment that targeted the organization's headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

A few hours later, Hezbollah publicly verified the death.

In a statement, Hezbollah declared that Nasrallah had passed away and that he had "joined his great, immortal martyr comrades whom he led for about 30 years".

He and other members were slain "following the treacherous Zionist strike on the southern suburbs" of Beirut, according to the organization.

The head of Hezbollah was named one of Israel's "greatest enemies of all time" by the Israeli military.

"His elimination makes the world a safer place," stated military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, who also noted that the group's top members will still be targeted.

Nasrallah, according to Israeli Foreign minister israel Katz, "deserved" to die.

Katz said on the social networking site X, "One of the most justified counter-terrorism actions israel has ever taken is the elimination of arch-terrorist Nasrallah."
