Rajinikanth is all ready to make the movie theaters go crazy. With its advance sales, the celebrity has really already begun to rule the American box office. Seven of the movie's advance screenings were sold out when it first opened, which gave the advance sales a fantastic start. With ten days till its debut, the Rajinikanth film has made $152K in advance sales at the US box office. In the meanwhile, $275K in pre-sales were reported on the premiere day in North America.
 
With approximately 6K tickets sold in the USA for only 389 showings, the movie is off to a fantastic start at the box office. When more performances are added and advance sales reach their maximum potential, the box office might experience a tsunami! In addition to Rajinikanth, amitabh bachchan, and Fahadh Faasil, manju warrier and Dushara Vijayan also feature in the movie.
 
Ten days remain till the premiere, and Vettaiyan has already registered a $152K pre-sale in the USA. This is over 18% of the total advance purchases for Rajinikanth's last US release, Jailer. Jailer had around $802K in advance purchases on its first day of release. In the meantime, Rajinikanth's next movie has made 21% of Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest Of All Time's advance sales. The GOAT opened with $708K in advance purchases in the USA, a record-breaking amount. When the advance sales go up with more events and venues, it remains to be seen if Jailer manages to surpass these enormous amounts.
