Recently, the hyderabad police department authorized food vendors to stay up until one in the morning in an effort to provide residents and guests with more alternatives for late-night meals. All food booths are permitted to open from 5 AM until 1 AM according to official guidelines. On the other hand, liquor stores are open from 10 AM to 11 PM, while other retail establishments are open from 9 AM to 11 PM.

This decision was made in response to the increasing need for food services in the evening, particularly in a city with a thriving nightlife. Previously, Hyderabad's nightlife had suffered when new laws required businesses to close by 11 PM. The business community and the general public were notably affected by this edict, since many IT workers rely on late-night food vendors for fast meals during their night shifts.

For these laborers, food stands are more than simply somewhere to eat; they are essential locations for taking breaks from demanding work, providing not only sustenance but also chances for mental and social decompression. Many people's routines were upset by the earlier implementation of closing times, which made their already difficult work schedules even more stressful. For these people, the new permit allowing food vendors to remain open late is a huge comfort. It fosters improved mental health and well-being by enabling people to keep up their habits and obtain necessary assistance while working.
