There hasn't been much activity in the telugu OTT arena lately. kalki, a recent huge name who made his amazon debut, struggled to get any momentum despite the star's presence. The most recent high-profile films to receive any kind of response on OTT are Salaar and guntur Kaaram, both of which had simultaneous releases. 

After then, not a single telugu movie was able to take center stage. After some time, NTR's Devara had its theatrical premiere on last month's 27th. According to reports, this movie's OTT premiere might happen at least 50 days after that. It is a truth that kalki lost out on OTT due to her lack of commercial appeal. However, Devara is marketed as a high-octane action drama with a sleek aesthetic.

Koratala is a modest filmmaker, yet as his previous films, mirchi and Janatha Garage, demonstrate, he has the flair to write action scenes that win awards. His ability to produce sufficient action sequences in Devara would greatly enhance the movie's chances of succeeding on OTT platforms. Devara, which Netflix paid a premium for, must get enough traction for the ntr film in order for the OTT behemoths to keep making significant telugu investments.
