Israel received a severe warning from Iran's Revolutionary Guards on Wednesday, threatening "crushing attacks" in retaliation for a missile strike that Tehran launched, escalating tensions in the already unstable area.
 
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised immediate retaliation in response to the missile bombardment that targeted Israeli military bases, even as iran vowed that its missile offensive was over until it was pushed further.

ISRAEL-IRAN TENSIONS: LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
• iran claimed to have attacked three military bases close to Tel Aviv, as well as important air and radar systems, with a flurry of missiles on Tuesday. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims that "90%" of the missiles "hit their targets," despite the fact that Israeli police have not recorded any injuries.
