Selena Gomez is a singer, actor, and businesswoman who recently joined the billionaire club. Joining the billionaire club is an amazing achievement in and of itself, but it's also important to talk about and investigate what it took to reach that level of accomplishment at the age of thirty-two. But Selena finds talking about money "distasteful," therefore she doesn't really enjoy it.

The singer complimented her Rare beauty clients and stated, "I personally think it's distasteful to talk about money," in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "I genuinely want to give all the credit to the customers that make purchases. They are the ones who brought my fantasy to reality. Thus, I feel really honored and just thrilled," she continued. According to a september 6 Bloomberg article, Selena is worth 1.3 billion dollars. Her career as an actress, singer, and co-founder of Rare beauty was credited with bringing her money.

Selena also made $6 million a season (at least) for her critically praised series Only Murders in the Building, where she co-stars with Steve Martin and Martin Short, two comedy icons.

With 424 million followers on Instagram, Selena is the most followed woman, which is just one more feather in her already beautifully adorned crown. She has also had other hits that have reached the top of the charts, such as the Grammy-nominated Latin-Pop album Revelacion. On the work front, her Emmy-nominated series, Only Murders in the Building, has already been renewed for a fifth season.
