Amrapali Kata, the commissioner of the hyderabad municipal corporation-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>greater hyderabad municipal corporation (GHMC), has taken a significant step by outlawing wall posters, graffiti, and paintings throughout the city. The relevant authorities have received instructions. amrapali issued a warning, saying that anyone who hangs posters or paints on walls will face severe consequences.

Movie posters also fall under this criteria. The Commissioner gave the Deputy Commissioners instructions to collaborate with theater owners to let them know about the prohibition. Political posters, advertisements, and other unlawful wall paintings are also covered by the rule. amrapali further directed officials to inform poster printing companies about the directive. This is indeed a welcome move as the entire city will be clean. However, there would be opposition for this as well.

Posters for this directive, issued by ghmc in 2016, are still visible across the city. ghmc appears to be more committed to upholding it currently, though. The city's attractiveness is ruined and given a grimy aspect by posters and flex banners hanging from pillars and walls. This action of the ghmc is well received by the public. There will likely be more information released soon on this choice.
