A first peek at exclusive footage from Atlee's next film Baby john was presented on september 30 at the Big Cine Expo 2024 in Mumbai. Directors Kalees and priya atlee, together with producers atlee and priya atlee, made sure that all cell phones were turned off and put away for the duration of the film. varun dhawan was portrayed in the five-minute teaser as his most prominent part to date. 

He blended comedy with dancing, and when he changed into a serious police officer, he thrilled crowds watching on a single screen. The promo included a lot of action and minimal conversation, with a powerful background soundtrack. Varun's persona included two separate appearances: a polished, short-haired police officer and a rougher, long-haired counterpart who was shown confronting gangsters while wearing a lungi. wamiqa gabbi makes a big storyline contribution, while Keerthy suresh looks gorgeous. Jackie Shroff’s character is considered as very terrifying.

Atlee made it clear that Baby john is an official version of Theri, with changes made to handle significant subjects like rape and women's protection. Producing this movie is Atlee's first venture into the hindi cinema industry, and he hopes to target single-screen viewers. Produced by jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A For apple Productions, Baby john is due to premiere in theaters on december 25 clashing with ram Charan’s Game Changer.
