Following a great opening weekend, koratala Siva's Devara Part 1, which stars Janhvi Kapoor, Saif ali Khan, and Jr. NTR, had a significant decline in box office revenues on its first Monday. The movie had a drop in box office receipts of more than 50% on saturday after opening with an astounding Rs 90 crore in India. sunday saw a minor improvement, mostly as a result of the hindi version's performance.

Devara Part 1, however, found it difficult to keep up the pace and only made Rs 13.50 crore on Monday. In comparison to the telugu release, the hindi version seems to be holding up better. Internationally, the movie brought in over USD 7.25 million on its first weekend of release, with over USD 5 million coming in on the first day alone.

After such an amazing start, the movie is now expected to complete its worldwide run with about USD 9 million, which is not a terrific outcome. Fortunately, the rights were sold at competitive prices, guaranteeing profitability for overseas distributors. Over its first four days, Devara has made over A$800,000 in Australia.
