ElCaso.com reports that a guy who had attacked many persons in the Montjuïc mountain region over the weekend was taken into custody by the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Guardia Urbana of Barcelona on Sunday. As seen in the video that ElCaso.com has access to, among the identified victims are a one-year-old girl and a 60-year-old man who was taken to the Hospital del Mar for evaluation because he had cuts on his face and bruises all over his body, according to police sources who spoke with this newspaper. Another individual has been identified as the third victim.

The guy was charged with a crime of injury and threats for these three attacks after many searches in the region, however, he may be connected to other instances that have been reported in recent days in Montjuïc. The testimony of three witnesses who saw the incident and provided an explanation of what transpired is included in the inquiry along with the footage of the minor's attack. There is no reason to fear for the lives of the two adult victims because they are progressing nicely. The police report states that the one-year-old daughter had minor injuries and was not admitted to the hospital.

The detained is a 31-year-old male of Ecuadorian nationality, according to sources with the Catalan police (not Maghrebi, as earlier stated, due to an error by the source). After three matching reports and his identification, he was detained and is accused of three offenses of injury and threats. On Tuesday, he is anticipated to appear before the court while on duty. The photographs of the assault on the girl are horrible. While police sources claim that persons of this background who live in poverty on Montjuïc Mountain often have similar attitudes, the filmed assault, in which he is shown cowardly hitting a one-year-old daughter, is beyond comprehension.
