The husband of divya Jyoti, the former Deputy Executive engineer (DEE) of the manikonda municipality, made a startling disclosure when he revealed video of his wife engaging in corruption. The accused civic official's spouse, Suvarna Sreepad, said that divya jyothi brought bribe money home from work every day. He said that his spouse had hidden money totaling between 20 and 30 lakh rupees, displaying bundles of cash stashed throughout their home.
 
According to Suvarna Sreepad, she receives commissions for approvals from builders and contractors in Manikonda. He added that despite his best efforts to dissuade her from engaging in corruption, she persisted in the crime. Additionally, he said that Sarath Kumar, the brother of divya Jyothi, was the driving force behind her unethical activities and that he coerces divya into accepting bribe money. She was reportedly sent to ghmc following the revelation of corruption charges. More information is anticipated.
 
A few years ago, the Revenue Inspector (RI) of Shaikpet was caught by the acb for accepting a bribe in a land dispute case. The acb, suspecting the involvement of the Tehsildar, conducted a search of her house as well, where they found Rs. 30 lakhs in cash and 10 tolas of gold ornaments.
