One of the well-known filmmakers in the kollywood film business is lokesh Kanagaraj. His next project, Coolie, which stars Rajinikanth, the one and only Superstar, is what he is working on right now.
 
Recently, he talked about the potential for Leo Part 2. Prior to this, lokesh has worked with Thalapathy Vijay on Leo. Vijay recently said that Thalapathy 69, his last film, will be directed by H. Vinoth. But lokesh said that he would produce Leo 2 with Vijay and call it parthiban if he had the chance in the future.
 
Although supporters are keen for lokesh to move forward, Vijay must finally approve the proposal. Vijay appears to be concentrating on his political career given the current circumstances. Whether Leo 2 will come to pass is a matter of time.

'Leo,' directed by lokesh kanagaraj, is the third film in the lokesh Cinematic Universe and draws inspiration from 'A history of Violence'. After its october 2023 release, the film broke several box office records for a tamil film. It finished as the seventh-highest-grossing indian film of 2023, the second-highest-grossing tamil film of the year, and the third-highest-grossing tamil film in history. It also became the biggest grossing tamil movie worldwide and the most earning movie at the tamil Nadu box office. The film earned almost Rs 620 crores in total when its BO run came to an end.
