Film-wise, Sankranthi is the greatest season. A few notable names bide their time till the season to try their luck. Sankranthi 2025 is growing, with six new movies being released. Five of them are Telugu-language films, while one is a tamil film with dubbing. The largest movie will be ram Charan's Game Changer and Sarkaar Sitharam, directed by Nandamuri Balakrishna. 

The release dates of these movies are january 10 and january 12, respectively. Global distribution of Game Changer will take place throughout India. Sankranthiki Vastunnam, which stars venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi, is their third collaboration, and it opens on january 14th. Majaka by sundeep kishan is scheduled to release on january 14th as well.

Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and nara rohit are aiming for a multi-starrer. The release of this unnamed movie is scheduled for Sankranthi in 2025. Mythri movie Makers' production of Ajith's Good Bad Ugly is competing in the Sankranthi race. Six movies in all will be released in theaters during Sankranthi 2025:
